Glacier Property Solutions Inc. / Glacier Roofing & Exteriors is a leading roofing and exterior home improvement contractor, since 2016 that is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and innovative roof and exterior solutions to our clients. Our commitment to safety and quality workmanship has made us a trusted partner for hundreds of home and property owners across the Northwest USA.  We are now seeking to add a Field Supervisor to join our growing team. This role is perfect for an individual with a background in the construction/home improvement industry that wants to deliver high quality craftsmanship but work more in a team environment!

We are seeking a dedicated candidate to work closely with our Support and Sales team to assist in both residential and commercial re-construction projects. The Field Supervisor will report directly to the Owner/President.  The candidate must  be able to multitask as they will be overseeing multiple jobs per day/per week.   The candidate should have a working knowledge of general construction practices, more specifically roofing, siding, fascia, soffit, window installation and drywall repairs.  Communication skills is a key asset for the ideal candidate and they will need to have the ability to use technology heavily in our day to day through our CRM and Google for Work platforms.

Primary Activities/Responsibilities:

  • Manage and install projects like fascia, siding, insulation and roofing projects

  • Assist in exterior repairs such as : fascia, siding, trimwork, leaf guard, gutters and other trades that come up before or after the project.

  • Manage other install projects like skylights, windows, doors, repairs and replacement projects.

  • Oversee jobs and projects as assigned by the Owner/President to ensure adequate turnaround time for repairs and service calls.

  • Inspect and verify all material deliveries for accuracy and completeness

  • Verify salespeople’s measurements and scope-of-work are accurate

  • Verify dumpsters, trailers and crews are on time at correct locations

  • Field inspect all construction jobs/trades at the beginning and end of each project to ensure to go over any special requests or concerns and ensure high quality construction and cleanup

  • Report problems, repair issues and assist in managing those said punch lists

  • Manage trade partner/sub crews in the field and report any concerns to the Owner and Operations Administrator.

  • Provide ladder assistance to internal/external sales, insurance adjusters and municipal inspectors

  • Assist Area Sales Leaders, Sales Reps with various tasks on client projects

  • Be on call at scheduled times to handle emergency services (emergency tarps and storm related instances)

  • Assist with production scheduling

  • Assist with Reconstruction projects (interior / remodels/ decks / Other projects)

  • Assist and manage all vehicle and equipment service needs.

  • Assist and manage Project Assistant Team

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Preference for candidates with coursework and work experience in business, roofing, general construction, carpentry, home improvement/remodeling industry

  • Exceptional project management skills: time management, multi-tasking, prioritization, attention to detail

  • Strong communication and personnel management skills

  • Comfortable climbing ladders and walking on roofs

  • Handyman and carpentry skills vital

  • Spanish speaking a plus

  • Willingness to travel
